Our Crew

“In the last twelve years I’ve met hundreds of new people, and built relationships with some that have changed my life, and who I would have never met otherwise through this opportunity. I feel privileged to do what I love every day, with people who I choose to call my family.” - Steph on what she loves the most about Pro Image.

Stephanie Young

Better known as Steph, Stephanie Young started Pro Image Painting LLC in 2007, and through over a decade of growth, now manages and operates with an incredible crew of employees. She refuses to subcontract projects, and believes in the team-oriented, efficient, dedicated, punctual, and responsible reputation her clients have appreciated over the years.

Recently featured in Entrepreneur’s Business Spotlight on Instagram, she shares the journey of how the company got to where it is today. She couldn’t be more appreciative of every human who has contributed to bring the company to 2024, and truly looks forward to the years ahead.

You can also hear she and Christina on the Paint Like a Girl Podcast, a podcast for women, by women, and all about navigating success in the world of professional painting with other females in the trade.

OUR LEADS

Each lead has been trained in the processes that have built Pro Image Painting' LLC’s reputation for exceptional customer service, unique fine finishing, and long-lasting results.

“I love that we have a leader that is always looking to improve and grow the company. We’re always trying the newest methods and techniques not only for the quality of work we provide for our customers but growing on the skills of our team as well.” -Zach on what he loves about working for Pro Image.

Zach B.

Zach Baker was our first lead Foreman at Pro Image Painting LLC. Steph noticed his initiative and dedication when they first worked together in retail years ago, and knew she had to have him on her team as she grew the company. He joined in 2013, and leads with a focused, quiet energy, ensuring respect and efficiency guide each project he manages. Responsible for the largest projects to date for Pro Image, Zach’s crew has taken fine finishing of interiors from Bedford up to the Seacoast during 2022.

DONNY M.

The first to prove Steph wrong that it’s always better to hire the inexperienced and train from scratch, Donny joined the team in October of 2021, bringing over a decade of painting experience with him. A serious producer, his ability to join our team seamlessly, showed that hard workers willing to adapt to our process could be a true asset to our every day, stepping up as a Foreman in late 2022. Not to mention, he’s a magician when it comes to wood rot. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him part of the Pro Image family.

“I like that it is team oriented and a close knit family; and seeing all the hard work come to fruition. And of course, a happy customer at the end of the project.” - Bryan on what he loves about working for Pro Image.

Bryan C.

Bryan is a Lead Foreman that joined Pro Image in 2016. He’s one of the hardest workers we’ve ever seen, who started as an Apprentice, but because he impressed us with such a “can-do” attitude, flew through the days as an Apprentice, Painter, and a Journeyman, and strait onto Lead Foreman status. His attention to detail during complicated projects, combined with his ability to efficiently meet tight deadlines, has earned Bryan great respect from the team. Managing the exterior season for Pro Image Painting, not only does he keep us on schedule, but his dedication to hustle keeps production moving during even the some of the most unpredictable months for weather.

THE CREW

“I love that i was given the opportunity by Steph and Christina to join this amazing talented crew that believes women do belong in trades. You can never go wrong with a women owned business.” - Jill, on what she likes most about working for Pro Image.

JilL M.

Jill came to the team in June of 2021 as one of the youngest members to join. Our quiet listener, always watching and learning, she adapted quickly to our interior prep and process, instantly catching the approval of her lead. Growing quickly every day, her skill with an airless sprayer has made her our next to watch as a fine finisher. She’s become such an important member of our interior crew, and we can’t wait to see where the next year takes her.

Alessia C.

Alessia is one of the youngest apprentices to come to Pro Image Painting LLC. Her kind demeanor, willingness to tackle anything, and always learning attitude make her a lovely addition to the team. Her dedication as she’s willing to drive over an hour a day to be a part of our every day, is one of the biggest compliments we could receive. Although, we knew that anyone coming to us from working with dogs all day would naturally be a great fit.

“Working for Pro-Image has been such an amazing opportunity for me. As someone who takes a lot of pride in their work, there’s nothing better than being surrounded by a team where everyone applies that same mentality to every project. Truly a positive workplace dynamic, as our ideas are heard, and applied. I feel valued, supported and encouraged. It’s great to part of the Pro-Image team!”

JORDANNA C.

Jordanna hit the ground running with Pro Image Painting LLC in March of 2021, and is a natural in this industry. After just a year, she quickly mastered the fine finish using an airless, and can provide one of the smoothest coatings by the team. Her attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and hustle show that she will have an incredible career with our team. Not to mention that her humor and good heart bring joy to every project.

CONNOR C.

When Connor first applied to Pro Image, we couldn’t believe his resume. True, when this computational chemist working on research and development, told us he was afraid of heights- we thought, why on earth would he want to work with us? But he quickly tackled that fear, so well in fact that he’s commonly found up high on staging maneuvering it with ease, and just as quickly became a true favorite at Pro Image. His demeanor, willingness to always be learning, while paying attention to every detail, he grew from an apprentice in early 2021 to a painter by the fall. Couldn’t be happier to have him as part of our Pro Image family.

JOEY Y.

And then there’s Joey. Our shop pup, also known as the lovable moose who thinks she’s the size of a shitzu.

We would be remiss to not thank all the incredible humans who have played a role on the team at Pro Image Painting LLC, as each member has shaped us not only in the work that we do, but the impression we leave with each project.

One who will always be with us, and who we take with us going forward as he will never be forgotten, is Jonathan Pope. May He Rest In Peace. 11/17/98 - 5/14/22

“I like working at Pro Image Painting LLC because it’s an inclusive environment with employees who are supportive and helpful. I believe I have been treated very well as an employee and I have learned a lot about being an advanced painter. This job …

“I like working at Pro Image Painting LLC because it’s an inclusive environment with employees who are supportive and helpful. I believe I have been treated very well as an employee and I have learned a lot about being an advanced painter. This job has helped me to focus on quality and good customer service. Overall an excellent company to be employed by.”

Pope, as we called him adoringly, was one of the kindest and softest young men we have ever met. He was beyond approachable, completely professional and well spoken, and someone who thought intentionally about the way he interacted with others.

He listened well, and took direction with respect from any team member - regardless of role or authority. Despite his struggles, any inner turmoil he was facing he kept to himself, and always warmed whoever he was working with by his never ending smile, kind eyes, and genuine care for others.

He was a GOOD person, inside and out, and never expressed that any task was beneath or above him. He rose to the challenges we asked of him last fall when we were short-staffed, and had always been someone willing to do anything the team needed that may have been tasks he had outgrown.

He was subtly funny. He could be goofy in the most charming way, and always found a way to sneak in something to make us laugh when we really needed it. We know it's because he paid attention to people - not just to be aware, but because we believe he wanted to know them for who they were. This intentionality gave him such a gift of being what someone else needed in the moment, and part of what made him so truly special. When you run crews of different types of individuals like we do, people like Jon are like your silent MVPs, the ones who help keep things even keeled while never asking for any of the credit.

May his time with us, good work, and lessons stay with us forever.
