OUR PROCESS:

  • Extensive preparation of all surfaces

  • Finish sanding and power sanding

  • Pressure washing to kill mildew and clean surfaces

  • Caulking of seams and casings

  • Gutters cleared and washed (upon request)

  • Priming bare surfaces to seal for protection and long lasting appeal 

  • Full finish application for proper coverage

  • All non-painted areas are protected from splatter and drips

  • Premium quality paints and stains are used:

    • Benjamin Moore

    • Sherwin Williams

    • Cabot Stains

    • Sikkens

  • Thorough clean up at the end of each day

  • All supplies and tools will be removed

  • Plant beds cleaned and paint chips removed

  • Touch up paint is labeled and left for the customer

  • Outdoor furniture and fixtures are returned to their original location

  • In New England, the ideal season is spring through early fall, when temperatures stay above 50°F and humidity is lower.

  • With proper prep and high-quality paint, most exterior paint jobs last 7–10 years, depending on exposure and material.

  • Yes. We thoroughly wash, scrape, sand, and prime surfaces as needed before applying any topcoat.

  • We work on wood, vinyl, aluminum, composite, and masonry surfaces—including historic homes and modern builds.

  • If your home was built prior to 1978, there is a good chance it has lead and will require a lead certified painter, which we are not. If you have a certification stating there is no longer lead on the property, then we can proceed with providing you an estimate, but otherwise we cannot.

  • We require landscaping to be cut back three feet from the house in order to properly secure the worksite for painting. However, our team is careful to protect plants, gardens, and lawn features. We use drop cloths and low-footprint staging methods.

  • Yes, we offer minor carpentry services including wood replacement to ensure a long-lasting finish.
